Using the World Wide Web
Over the past several years, I have learned of many online resources that would be helpful to the modern Latin student for projects, studying, etc. Use these sites for your projects (if you wish) for Latin or any other class in which you find them to be useful. If you discover more on your journeys, please inform Magistra Travis so that she can update this website.

PreziThis is a website for those who do not have PowerPoint (or those who do!). You can create a presentation with images, bullets, animations, and a whole gambit of utilities that you can use for free, save to an online account, and dazzle teachers and classmates with your knowledge of the web and your subject matter.

GlogsterA tool for creating online posters for anything from campaign signs to wanted posters.
|
WeeblyA free tool for educators and students to create class webpages. Our class page is http://www.learninglatin.weebly.com. Each student in our class has the ability to create their own learning page with the username first.last and password Latin1. Sign in at http://students.weebly.com. This is an exceptionally user-friendly site and I encourage each of you to use it to create your own site for learning Latin (or creating a portfolio).

TeacherTubeA teacher-approved version of YouTube that can be viewed for learning purposes. If you create a video for a class project that would be helpful for others to view, then please use Teacher Tube.
